Bridge Road International (BRI) Foundation

Bridge Road International Foundation, formed in 2018, has continued to work to serve the specific needs within our community. As an example, during the current 2020 Pandemic BRI has organized more than 30 local non-profit organizations, individuals and small business owners to form the COVID-19 Relief Bay Area Task Force. With this Task force, we have and continue to raise funding within the Chinese American community to purchase Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to donate to the front lines in China and here in the United States to our essential workers. We also coordinated more than 50 online community forums with an estimated reach of more than 20,000 audience viewers.

About Us

Zhao XiaoLan.JPG

The Bridge Road International (BRI) Foundation. The Qiaolu Foundation (侨路基金会) is a non-profit organization founded in 2018 by several Chinese American community leaders from Silicon Valley in Northern California. Currently, our organization has two primary objectives that are core to our mission: The first is to promote Sino-US cultural and educational exchanges and to sow the seeds of Sino-US friendship. The second is to improve Chinese American social responsibility, strengthen citizenship, and create a united community that amplifies the needs of our people. Given these objectives, we aspire to discover, bring together, and cultivate Chinese youth with strong leadership capabilities so that they can exert their influence and become the leaders of tomorrow in a variety of industries in the United States.

One Mask at a Time

During the COVID-19 pandemic, BRI Youth hand made face masks, face shields, and nurse caps and donated them to hospitals in the Bay Area. Preventing the spread of COVID-19 is by no means an easy feat, but through cooperation and community empowerment we believe we can facilitate progress in this area. Helping The Community

BRI Youth Group assisted the TCV Food Bank and Mobile Pantry to help on their mission of eliminating hunger in Alameda County. While our volunteers were there on Tuesday, November 24, we helped feed 775 families and helped distribute over 19,625 lbs of food to the community. Thank you volunteers for helping to make a difference!

Presidential Awards

During 2020, BRI volunteers have made great contributions in helping the front-line workers during the global pandemic through buying, packing, and delivering PPE to locations in China and across the United States. They also continually held seminars to provide relevant information to the general public. As a result, 27 volunteers received the President's Volunteer Service Award.
